Storage Unit Cleanouts in Fairburn
We clear out rented storage units from the back wall to the door. You tell us what stays with you, and we load the rest, haul it off and sweep the floor. Then you can hand back the key and stop paying for it every month.

Knowing When to Clear the Unit
A storage unit usually begins as a stopgap during a move, a remodel or a parent's downsizing. Months turn into years, and the monthly rent keeps paying for boxes no one has touched.
A cleanout puts a stop to it. We meet you at the facility, walk through the unit together and remove whatever you're done with: furniture, boxes, old appliances, mattresses, holiday decorations and broken shelving. All of it leaves on our truck.
To us it's upkeep. What's worth keeping comes home with you, where it gets used and looked after. Everything else stops eating into your budget, which beats paying another year of rent on it.
What a Cleanout Includes
- Sorting with you
- We work through the unit box by box if you want. Anything you point to gets set aside for you to take.
- All the heavy lifting
- Dressers, sleeper sofas, washers and full boxes of books. Our crew carries them out and loads the truck, so you don't lift a thing.
- Donation first
- Furniture and household goods in usable shape go to donation where we can. Trash and broken items go to proper disposal.
- Facility-friendly work
- We keep hallways clear, use carts and don't leave anything in the facility's dumpsters or common areas.
- Broom-clean finish
- When the unit is empty we sweep it out. Most facilities want it that way before they close your rental.
Signs It's Time to Clear It Out
You can't remember what's in it
If you haven't opened the door in a year, you likely don't need most of what's behind it.
Boxes are sagging or smell musty
Units without climate control get hot and damp through a Georgia summer. Cardboard softens, mattresses and couches can pick up mildew, and the damage gets worse the longer it sits.
The rent went up again
Facilities raise rates over time. Add up a year of payments and compare it to what the contents are really worth.
An estate or move is wrapping up
The house is settled and the unit is the last loose end. Clearing it lets you close things out.
You're paying for two units
Sometimes one cleanout lets you combine the keepers into a smaller unit or bring them home and drop the rental completely.
How the Job Day Goes
- 1
Phone call
Tell us the unit size, the facility and roughly what's inside. We'll set up a time that works with the facility's access hours.
- 2
Free look at the unit
We can meet you there for a free, no-obligation on-site estimate. You get a clear price before we start, with upfront pricing and no hidden fees.
- 3
Sort and load
You point out what stays with you. We load everything else, keep the hallway clear and work quickly so we're not tying up the facility's elevator or carts.
- 4
Haul and sweep
Usable items head to donation, the rest to disposal. We sweep the unit so you can lock up, turn in the key and end the rental.

What Affects Your Price
Your price depends on how much truck space your things need and how hard they are to reach. We tell you the number before we start, and it doesn't grow once loading begins.
- How much is inside
- A lightly filled 5x10 and a crammed 10x30 are far apart. The amount of stuff drives most of the price.
- Big or heavy items
- Pianos, safes, appliances and solid wood furniture need more crew time and more room on the truck.
- Reaching the unit
- Drive-up units go faster than a second-floor unit down a long hall with a single shared elevator.
- Sorting time
- Want to check every box with us? We'll allow time for it. If everything is going, the work goes quicker.
- Things with special disposal
- Paint, chemicals, fuel cans or tires can require separate disposal. Bring them up on the call so your price covers them.
Questions About Storage Unit Cleanouts
Something not covered here? (404) 738-5781
Do I have to be at the facility?
Not necessarily. A lot of facilities only allow the renter or people on the access list past the gate, so ask the office first. If you put us on the list or meet us to unlock the unit, we'll take it from there. We can sort out the details on the phone.
Can I hold on to some items?
Of course. Show us what you want and we'll put it aside before loading. Plenty of people hang on to a few boxes and a piece of furniture or two and let everything else go.
Is the unit move-out ready when you finish?
We empty it completely and sweep the floor, which is what most facilities require. If yours has additional move-out rules, tell us and we'll work them in.
Where does everything go?
Household goods and furniture in good condition go to donation when possible. Anything broken, damaged or moldy goes to proper disposal. Nothing gets left at the facility.
Can you empty several units in one job?
Yes. Let us know how many units you have and their sizes when you call, and you'll get a single price for all of it. Need a garage or basement cleared too? We also do garage cleanouts and basement cleanouts.
