Appliance Removal in Fairburn, GA
Old fridge in the garage, dead washer in the laundry room, or a stove you just replaced. We carry it out, protect your floors and walls on the way, and take it to recycling instead of a ditch. You get the space back clean.

Getting the Old One Out Without Damage
Appliances are heavy, awkward and hard on a house. A refrigerator can top 250 pounds. Dragged across vinyl or hardwood, it leaves gouges. Bumped through a doorway, it takes paint and trim with it. We use a hand truck, straps and floor pads so the old unit leaves and your home stays as it was.
Getting rid of a dead appliance is also upkeep. A fridge left in a garage drips, rusts and stains the concrete. A washer sitting in a carport through a humid Georgia summer draws mildew and pests. Hauling it off early saves the floor, the slab and the space around it.
We serve homeowners in Fairburn and nearby towns like Union City, Palmetto and Tyrone. Pricing is upfront with no hidden fees.
What We Haul and How We Handle It
Refrigerators and freezers
These hold refrigerant, so they can't just go to the landfill. We take them to a facility that recovers the refrigerant before the metal is recycled. Empty the food first; we handle the rest.
Washers and dryers
We haul top loaders, front loaders and stacked sets. Please shut off the water and unplug the unit before we arrive. We cap nothing and cut nothing, so your hookups stay ready for the new machine.
Stoves, ovens and dishwashers
Electric ranges we can unplug and slide out. Gas ranges need the gas shut off and disconnected by a qualified person before we move them. Dishwashers should be disconnected from water and power ahead of time.
Water heaters
Old tanks are heavy and often hold sediment. Have it drained and disconnected, and we'll carry it out and send the steel to scrap.
Small and odd units
Microwaves, window AC units, dehumidifiers, chest freezers and trash compactors. If it plugged into a wall, there's a good chance we take it.
Sweep-up after
Appliances leave dust, lint and the odd lost sock behind. We sweep the spot so it's ready to clean or install into.
Signs It's Time to Let It Go
Water under the fridge
A leaking drain line or cracked pan keeps soaking the floor. Over time that warps flooring and subfloor. If repairs keep coming back, removal protects the house.
The garage fridge runs nonstop
Old second fridges work hard in summer heat and cost money every month. If it's mostly holding drinks, it may not be worth keeping.
Rust stains on the slab
Metal sitting on concrete leaves orange rings that get harder to clean the longer they sit.
A new one is coming
Not every store hauls the old unit, and some charge extra or won't take it from a basement. We can clear the spot before delivery day.
It's been in the yard a while
An appliance left outside collects rainwater and draws mosquitoes and rodents. It's best gone before it becomes a bigger cleanup.
How the Job Goes
- 1
You call us
Tell us what the appliance is and where it sits: kitchen, basement, garage or out back. We'll set a time and talk through any prep, like shutting off water or gas.
- 2
We look and price it
On arrival we check the path out, then give you the price before we lift anything. If you'd rather see it first, the free, no-obligation on-site estimate is there for that.
- 3
We protect and carry
Floor pads go down, door edges get covered if the fit is tight, and the unit goes out on a strapped hand truck. Two people on every heavy lift.
- 4
We sort it for disposal
Fridges and freezers go for refrigerant recovery. Steel goes to scrap. Only what can't be reused or recycled goes to the landfill.
What Changes the Price
Most appliance pickups are simple, and the price shows it. A few things add time or disposal cost. You hear the number before we start, and it doesn't change once we agree.
- Number of appliances
- One washer costs less than a full kitchen swap. Grouping several pieces on one trip is usually the better deal.
- Where it sits
- A fridge in a garage is quick. A chest freezer at the bottom of basement stairs takes more hands and more time.
- Refrigerant units
- Fridges, freezers and AC units cost more to dispose of properly because of refrigerant recovery.
- Add-on items
- If you want other things gone while we're there, like the old furniture next to it, we fold it into one upfront price.
Appliance Removal Questions
Something not covered here? (404) 738-5781
Do I need to disconnect the appliance first?
Yes, please. Unplug electric units, shut off water to washers and dishwashers, and have a qualified person disconnect gas lines. We don't work on gas or plumbing hookups. That keeps your home safe and your connections ready for the next unit.
Will you take a fridge that still has food in it?
We ask that it be emptied first. Spoiled food leaks during the carry and makes a mess on your floors. Leave the shelves in; we'll take them along.
Does a working appliance still get hauled away?
Yes. If it still runs, we try to route it somewhere it can get more use instead of being scrapped. Just tell us it works when you call.
Can you get it out of a basement or tight spot?
Usually, yes. We measure doorways and stairs, take off doors if needed, and use straps for steep steps. If something won't clear safely, we'll tell you before we try.
Can you take other junk on the same trip?
Sure. Many people clear an appliance along with old furniture or garage clutter. Ask about our furniture removal and garage cleanouts and we'll price it all together.
Ready to Clear That Spot?
Tell us what's going and where it sits. We'll give you a straight price and a time that works.
