Furniture Removal in Fairburn
Old couch, broken bed frame, a dresser nobody wants. We carry it out of your home, take apart what won't fit through the door, and haul it off. Your floors and door frames stay the way they were. You just point to what goes.

When it's time to let a piece go
Most furniture leaves a house because it wore out, broke, or no longer fits the room. A sagging sofa, a recliner with a stuck footrest, a particleboard dresser with drawers that fall off the track. Keeping it around doesn't save anything. It takes up floor space, collects dust, and makes the rest of the room harder to clean and use.
The hard part is getting it out. Heavy pieces scrape hardwood, gouge drywall at the turns, and chip paint on door frames. That damage costs more to fix than the furniture was worth. So we treat the move-out as part of keeping your home in good shape. We pad corners, protect floors, and take things apart when that's the safer way.
If you're clearing a whole room or more, our garage cleanouts and basement cleanouts cover the rest of the stuff along with the furniture.
What the job includes
- Lifting and carrying from any room
- Upstairs bedrooms, basements, back porches. We do all the lifting. You don't need to drag anything to the curb first.
- Taking pieces apart
- Bed frames, bunk beds, sectionals, and large entertainment centers often come apart easier than they go around a stair landing. We bring tools, break them down, and carry them out in pieces.
- Floor and wall protection
- We lay runners on finished floors and pad door frames and tight corners on the path out. It takes a few extra minutes and saves you a repair.
- Mattresses and box springs
- These are bulky and awkward but light. We take them along with the bed frame so the whole set is gone in one trip.
- Outdoor and patio furniture
- Rusted metal chairs, faded resin sets, rotting wood benches from the deck or yard. We haul those too.
- Sweep-up after
- Furniture always leaves dust, lost screws, and a few coins behind. We sweep the spot where each piece sat before we leave.
Signs a piece should go
The frame cracks or wobbles
Once a sofa or chair frame splits, it keeps getting worse. Glue and brackets rarely hold for long.
Mildew smell that won't leave
Upholstered pieces stored in a garage or shed through a humid Georgia summer can pick up mildew deep in the cushions. Cleaning the surface doesn't reach it.
Springs you can feel
A mattress or couch with springs poking through is past saving and can tear clothes or skin.
It blocks the room
If you walk around a piece every day or it covers a vent or outlet, the room works better without it.
New furniture is on the way
Clear the old set out before delivery day. It's much easier for the new pieces to come in through an empty room.
How the day goes
- 1
You call and tell us what's going
Describe the pieces and where they sit in the house. We can set up a free on-site estimate so you see the price before any work starts.
- 2
We look at the path out
When we arrive, we walk the route from the room to the truck. We check stair turns, door widths, and anything fragile along the way.
- 3
Protect, break down, carry
Runners go down, corners get padded, and anything too big gets taken apart. Then we carry it out piece by piece.
- 4
Load and clean up
Everything goes on our truck. We sweep the floor where the furniture stood and pull up the floor protection. Pieces still in decent shape get set aside for donation where we can.

What the price depends on
Pricing is upfront, with no hidden fees. It comes from how much truck space your pieces fill and how much work it takes to get them out. We tell you the number before anything gets lifted.
- Amount of furniture
- A single recliner fills a small corner of the truck, while a whole bedroom set fills much more. The size of the load matters most.
- Stairs and narrow paths
- Upstairs rooms, cramped basement steps and tight hall corners add time, and now and then an extra helper.
- Breaking pieces down
- Furniture that has to come apart before it leaves adds labor, though that's often quicker than wrestling it out in one piece.
- Extra-heavy furniture
- Solid wood armoires, sleeper sofas with steel frames and marble-top tables are heavier than they appear and need more care on the way out.
Furniture removal questions
Something not covered here? (404) 738-5781
Do I need to get the furniture outside first?
No, leave it be. We pick up each piece in the room it's in. Moving heavy furniture yourself is an easy way to hurt your back or mark up the floor.
Can you take a sectional or a sleeper sofa?
Yes. Sleeper sofas hide a steel bed frame, so we show up prepared for the extra weight. Most sectionals come apart into pieces, which makes getting through doorways easier.
What happens to furniture that's still usable?
When we can, clean pieces in fair condition go to donation instead of the landfill. Broken or stained items get disposed of properly.
How soon can you come?
Same-day and next-day service is available, depending on the schedule when you call. Tell us when you need it done and we'll look for an open time.
Will you haul an appliance with the furniture?
Yes. If there's an old fridge or washer in the room too, it can go on the same truck. Our appliance removal page has more on that.
